Meet Gabriella,

Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Gabriella Benjamin found her passion for photography at quite a young age. She combined her love for sport and the art of photography as a serious hobby.

Even though Gabriella is still young she believes that her passion for photography will soon become her career. She hopes that she can travel the world and photograph the most world renown athletes. Being a sportswomen herself, she knows exactly what other athletes like her would like.

Her passion for photography caught a light when her school took her on an excursion to Marianhill Monastery, for a photography "competition." There were various categories in which they could enter photographs into. Gabriella being such a competitive person she entered a photo into all of the following categories: "Reflection", "Moody Interior" and "Abstract", and of course she hit the jackpot and won all three categories. And that is where her journey began.

At the moment, she is taking photos for her school, as well as working closing with the Chad le Clos foundation. She really enjoys taking photos and learning from her mistakes. She hopes that one day this intriguing hobby can turn into a fun and interesting career which will allow her to travel the world.
